Dawn Matthews, MS MBA, is Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, and Director of ADMdx. With over 30 years of life sciences management experience including 20+ years in neuroimaging, she directs and contributes directly to development, operations, and commercialization activities. She serves as Co-Chair of the Radiologic Society of North America Quantitative Biomarkers Tau PET and Amyloid PET working groups, Scientific Advisor for the Alzheimer’s Drug Development Foundation, and was co-lead of the Imaging Biomarkers group of the Critical Path for Parkinson’s Consortium. Earlier, she was Director of Marketing and Business Development in the Motorola BioChip Systems business unit, co-founder, Acting Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of a medical device company through its $53 million Initial Public Offering, and Senior Principal Engineer at Baxter Healthcare. She received her BSEE at the University of Notre Dame and MSEE at the University of Michigan, both with a biomedical emphasis, and MBA at Northwestern University.
O.B. Parrish, MBA, Chairman of the Board, brings extensive management and entrepreneurial experience in the health care industry. Mr. Parrish served Pfizer in New York as Executive Vice President of its International Division and G D Searle in Chicago as President of its International Division and subsequently President of its global Pharmaceutical/Consumer Products Group. His additional entrepreneurial roles include President of Phoenix Health Care a holding company, Director of two companies who are commercializing patented technology in the renewable energy space, and Prior-Chairman of The Female Health Company (FHC). During his involvement, FHC developed a first of its kind female health product, secured FDA approval and WHO clearance to market, and gained distribution in 144 countries. He holds a BS degree from Lawrence University and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago.
Miles Wernick, PhD, is CTO, Co-Founder, and Board Member of ADMdx. Dr. Wernick is an industry and research leader in medical imaging and AI. He has served as Head of AI at Exo, Inc., and was founding Director of the Medical Imaging Research Center at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he held the Motorola Endowed Chair Professorship. He was Co-Founder and CEO of Predictek, Inc., which provided AI services for pharmaceutical evaluation, and together with Abiant, Inc., formed ADMdx. Dr. Wernick also contributes to the biomedical field at large, serving currently as a mentor for the healthcare tech incubator MATTER, and previously as review panel member for the National Institutes of Health, and in elected leadership roles in various technical societies. Dr. Wernick is lead editor of the book Emission Tomography: The Fundamentals of PET and SPECT. In recognition of his industry and research contributions to the biomedical field, he was honored by election to the College of Fellows of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineers.
Ana Lukic, PhD, Vice President, Research and Development heads the development of ADMdx’s software products, internal processing and machine learning tools, and Information Technology. Dr. Lukic is the primary architect of ADMdx’ PipelineMAX™ image processing platform, CorInsights products, PET imaging visual read software, and other tools. She has served as Principal Investigator on multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health and National Science Foundation and as Project Director on numerous imaging and collaborative studies. She was previously a Principal Engineer at Predictek, where she originated PipelineMAX and focused on the application of machine learning to drug development data. Dr. Lukic holds a BS in Computer Engineering, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering, and performed her postdoctoral work in biomedical applications of machine learning under ADMdx co-founders Drs. Wernick and Strother.
Randolph Andrews, MS, Director of Image Data Management and Methods, has led the formation and curation of ADMdx’s image data repositories that now include tens of thousands PET and MRI scans representing a spectrum of normal and disease states. His work allows ADMdx to rapidly mine and analyze data for classifier development and clinical trial planning, and to consistently track clinical trial status. He is responsible for quality control and processing of PET and MRI images and has provided new processing method development and implementation of new image processing software packages. Mr. Andrews brings over 20 years of neuroimaging experience in addition to a background in biology and developmental neuroscience, and service as a non-commissioned officer in nuclear, biological and chemical warfare positions in the US Army.
Gemini Janas, RT, Director of Project and Data Management, and HIPAA Privacy Officer, leads the operational execution of ADMdx’s clinical trials, central study data management, site training, and customer support. Gemini joined ADMdx from Duke University, where she successfully built and directed a team in support of advanced liver imaging research and clinical trials, established regulatory databases for multiple departments, and contributed to cross-functional teambuilding. Previously, she held positions including Clinical Research Coordinator and Data Manager and Interventional Radiology Technologist. Ms. Janas has a BS in Clinical Health Management and Leadership from the George Washington University and is also a certified Radiology Technologist with a degree in Radiologic Technology/Science.
Deb Bartel, Director of Quality, has worked closely with ADMdx to establish our 21CFR Part 11 compliance and HIPAA compliance. She is Vice President of Quality Assurance at ProPharma Group, a company specializing in regulatory related clinical services. Ms. Bartel is a leader in establishing and maintaining 21CFR Part 11 compliant software quality and information system initiatives, with 30 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, medical device, and other industries. She brings numerous years of experience managing international ERP, laboratory, pharmacovigilance, clinical, quality management, and financial systems projects in both regulated and non-regulated industries. Ms. Bartel has trained hundreds of Life Sciences professionals in risk-based computer system validation and has worked with the ADMdx team for many years. She holds ASQ certifications in quality auditing (CQA) and six-sigma processes (CSSGB) as well as a PMP® from the Project Management Institute, and BS-Information Systems and MBA degrees from the University of Wisconsin.
Jeremy Driscoll, Director of Cybersecurity, boasts a wealth of knowledge and proficiency in the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems and security infrastructure. Holding the dual roles of CIO and Senior VP at RealNets, a Managed Services Provider, he is also recognized as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect. His wide-ranging skills encompass Linux, SQL, Web and Application Development, and the realm of Cybersecurity. Additionally, he has previously assumed software development responsibilities and holds a degree in Computer Science. Mr. Driscoll collaborates closely with ADMdx's Director of Information Systems and the HIPAA Privacy Officer to ensure the utmost security of ADMdx's data operations.
